The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment (SSC CHSL/MTS) to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. 

Junjor Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical And Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination.


SSC CGL

Through SSC CGL the selected candidate is placed in the non-technical Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ non gazetted posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Government of India.

Education Qualifications :

Assistant Audit Officer:

Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University
OR
Desirable Qualification: CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/
Masters in Business Studies

Statistical Investigator Grade-II Post :

Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.

Compiler Posts :

Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as
compulsory or Elective Subject.

All Other Posts :

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent

SSC CGL  Selection Process :

The SSC CGL Exam is conducted in four stages: || Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. ||

Tier-I: Computer Based Examination

General Intelligence and Reasoning /General Awareness / Quantitative Aptitude / English Comprehension.

Tier-II: Computer Based Examination

Paper I: Quantitative Aptitude / Paper II : English Language and Comprehension / Paper III : Statistics / Paper IV : General Studies (Finance and Mathematics)

Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)

Writing Essay /Precious/ Letter / Applications etc.,

Tier IV : Computer Proficiency Test/ Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.

Proficiency in Word processing, Spreadsheet and Generation of slides and typing test .

Students must note down that Tier III is scoring and qualifying in nature while Tier IV is only qualifying in nature. You have to do well in all the Tiers of the SSC CGL Examination.


SSC CHSL

Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination :

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment (SSC CHSL) to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.

Educational Qualification :

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. httos://ssc.nic.in.

Scheme of Examination:

The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Tier-I),
Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-Ill).

Tier I:

English Language (Basic knowledge) / General intelligence / Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic skill) / General Awareness

There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Tier- II (Descriptive Paper) :  Tier-II Paper will be a descriptive Paper of 100 Marks in ‘Pen and
Paper’ Mode. The duration of the Descriptive Paper would be for one hour.

Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination

The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment (SSC MTS) to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification :

The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination equivalent from a recognized Board.

SSC MTS  Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.

The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II).

SSC MTS Paper-I (Computer Based Examination-Objective Type):

General English / General intelligence and Reasoning / Numerical aptitude and General Awareness

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC MTS – Paper-II (Descriptive):

Short Essay/Letter in English or in any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.

SSC MTS Paper-II will be qualifying in nature. Paper-II will be used to decide merit in case more than one candidate score equal normalized marks in Paper-I.


SSC – JE :

 Junjor Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical And Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination.

SSC JE in various Ministers/Departments/ Organisations.

The Examination (SSC JE) will consist of two Papers i.e. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination)and Paper-II (Descriptive Type).

Paper I :

(i)   General Intelligence and Reasoning

(ii)   General Awareness

(iii)   Part-A

General Engineering (Civil & Structural)

or

Part-B

General Engineering (Electrical)

or

Part-C

General Engineering (Mechanical)

Paper II :

General Engineering (Civil & Structural ) or General Engineering (Electrical) or General Engineering Mechanical .

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.
